Great, great vehicles, but don’t most of them ‘bottom out’ most of the time or are all road surfaces totally flat? Thanks for sharing these, really enjoyed them (with a big grin on my face) 🙂
Why is my car your banner image? Just kidding, mine is black. 😉
I haven’t been to a car show in almost a year but this one looks awesome. I’m assuming it’s in Texas given it’s name but where at? I’m a fan of flat black so I really like that one and the kid in his own little low-rider. So cute! But that gold one, like 12th from the bottom, that color is amazing!
Do you use film for your shots? I think they add a lot of character. I really enjoy the composition of your 2nd photo. I wish I went to a car show in TX….<–jealous. hehe
I think I found a new love, that bright sunkist orange vehicle.
Do you happen to know the name?
Probably too much to remember
This blog is very impressive and enlarged my knowledge, required information & the things i never imagined. i pay my thanks to be given such kind of valuable details.
Gorgeous! My husband and I can’t wait to buy a classic car now that we are moving to Texas! It was extremely hard to find them in Hawaii, and we’ve been missing driving around in our ’64 Buick Special. Your post kindled the desire to buy a classic car even more 🙂
Great pics of the roundup.
Particularly love the roadster pickups.. I had a 27 ford rpu when I lived in SF.. The Merc kemp ain’t my bag, too lowrider..
The other trucks and the 32 are real cool too.
I toally love the red one and the vintage school bus! So cute!
Agree!
Well, C3P0 was certainly…unexpected!
Fun shots — you capture such character through your photography!
Thank you!
R2D2…

Most of these cars are on air bags. So when they drive they can raise up and when they park or cruise slow they just lower the car.
How very old French of them 😉
Did I miss something or where did you take these? Makes me think of Detroit’s Dream Cruise. Which is not a dream, a cruise, or even, in Detroit haha.
These were taken in Austin TX at Lone Star Round Up car show.
wow, very beautiful ))
Great pictures of great cars. Liked the Corvair van.
Those were some very sweet rides. 🙂 Thank you, for posting. 🙂

Wow! The photos are great. The little green car with the boy in it is great.

This car show was in Austin TX.
I’m also a fan of the flat black, but it has to be on the right car. Not all car can pull off the flat black.
Amazing shots, love your post
Awesome pics! as a SW geek, I loved seeing R2-D2.

_Great shots and brought me to a different world
No, none of the shots are film. All of these are digital and edited. Sorry I don’t remember the orange car make or model.
I wish I can test-drive each and every one of these!
Your photos are amazing. I love hot rods, street rods, rat rods, and anything that comes close. I signing up to follow.

Great shots, interesting cars. The shine is great but I kind of like some of those with the rough finish.
Some of these cars look like they are from ‘Mad Max’ if it was set in 1950’s America.

I like cars from the early fifties. It was when metal was cheap and they put as much as they could on four wheels.
